Debbie is a solicitor in our Public Law Department.

She is very experienced in all areas of Public Law and Community Care work.

Debbie is currently representing a large number of clients in the Independent Inquiry into Child Sexual Abuse.

In addition, Debbie is also able to represent clients who wish to make a claim for compensation against the Local Authority for abuse they suffered whilst in care.

Debbie has an extremely approachable nature, she understands how hard it can be to disclose to a stranger and will take things at your pace.

She is referred to as ‘our Angel’ by one charity she has close links with because of her dedication to representing victims and survivors of child sexual abuse.

Debbie is extremely passionate about representing victims and survivors of child sexual abuse and will work tirelessly to ensure their voices are heard.

Debbie is also experienced in bringing claims against public bodies by way of Judicial Review and has been involved in challenges against Local Authorities for failing to assess families with no recourse to public funds and provide services under the Children Act 1989, challenges to decisions made by the Prison Service and age disputes for Unaccompanied Asylum-Seeking Children.

Outside of work, Debbie enjoys going to the gym, socialising and spending too much money on shoes.
